Stephanie Marrus is Director of the Entrepreneurship Center at University of California San Francisco (UCSF), where she is on a mission to start companies.  She works with scientists and clinicians to help them assess their value proposition and business model and create a fundable business plan.  Prior to joining UCSF in 2012, she was actively involved in the Silicon Valley entrepreneurial world as a business advisor,  executive-for-hire and international entrepreneurship educator.

Her consulting practice, SV Global, works with companies looking to optimize value for investors and shareholders; with government ministries and other foreign entities interested in bringing  back Silicon Valley style entrepreneurship.  She teaches entrepreneurship workshops and  classes globally in regions including Europe, Asia, Africa Latin America and the Middle East.  She develops programs to introduce foreign entrepreneurs to the Silicon Valley ecosystem.
